Six Tax-Aide sites in Clallam and Jefferson counties are scheduled to open Feb. 1. Fully trained and certified volunteers will assist senior and low- and moderate-income taxpayers with preparation of their 2009 tax returns. All assistance and electronic filing is free to the taxpayer. Most sites require appointments. The Tax-Aide program is sponsored by AARP and the IRS.
