Gardiner holiday party to help NW Raptor Center

Wild Birds Unlimited is hosting a fundraising holiday party on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Gardiner store at 275953 US Highway 101.

Jay and Gary Moore from the Northwest Raptor and Wildlife Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and their live birds of prey will be on hand from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Northwest Raptor & Wildlife Center has been working here on the Peninsula for the past 33 years and is dedicated to the rehabilitation of local wildlife and education of the public.

The center is accepting monetary donations and is also in need of donations of owl boxes, bird seed, paper towels, Kleenex, potty pads (human or puppy) laundry baskets, heating pads, small dishes like crocks or ashtrays, garbage bags, disposable gloves, cleaning wipes, scrub brushes, dog or cat food (wet or dry), towels, new or gently used wool blankets, vet wrap, clothespins, bleach, dawn dish soap, cash and gift certificates to Wild Birds Unlimited, Walmart or Petco.

Donations may be dropped off anytime to Wild Birds Unlimited.
