The Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce held its monthly after-hours event Jan. 20 at the Sequim Gazette’s recently remodeled offices. Gazette owner Brown Maloney and General Manager Steve Perry coordinated the event.
"It was the first time we’ve hosted. There was a good turnout and people were very receptive," Perry said.
Participants observed the newly decorated hallway and Sequim Gazette’s community room. Historical photos and advertisements from the 1890s through the 1980s line the walls detailing the history of Sequim and its publications.
Door prizes were given to members.
Carolyn Cooper with Carolyn E. Cooper Communications won a one-fourth-page color ad. Kathy Fuller with Peninsula Awards & Trophies won a one-fourth-page black-and-white ad.
Scott Nagel with Sequim Lavender Festival won a $100 gift certificate to Damaiana’s Best Cellers.
Linda Perry with In Graphic Detail won a $100 gift certificate to The Dove’s Nest.
