Greywolf Earns ‘School of Distinction’

Sequim’s Greywolf Elementary School was awarded a School of Distinction award for the second year in a row from the Center for Education Effectiveness.

Sequim’s Greywolf Elementary School was awarded a School of Distinction award for the second year in a row from the Center for Education Effectiveness. Greywolf received the recognition after placing in the top 5 percent of schools in Washington for reading and math improvement over the past five years. Above, school principal Donna Hudson is presented a certificate by Olympic Educational Service District 114 Superintendent Greg Lynch at an all-school assembly on March 26. The 2014 School of Distinction award winners include 54 elementary schools, 22 middle/junior high schools, 17 high schools and eight alternative schools.
