Groups seeking comments, solutions for local issues

The community is invited to talk about local policy issues with the Ag and Rural Caucus, the Small Business Caucus and the Rural Committee of Washington’s Democratic Party at three upcoming meetings on the Olympic Peninsula, including one near Sequim.

The Sequim session is set for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road, between Sequim and Port Angeles.

Additional meetings are 4-6 p.m. on Marc 26 at the Warm House Restaurant in Neah Bay, and 9-11 a.m. Friday, March 27, at the Blakeslee Bar and Grill in Forks.

The groups are starting a state-wide listening tour with meetings in Clallam County. Group members want are seeking comments from citizens about local issues and solutions, event organizers say. All are welcome, regardless of political affiliation.
