Dungeness Health & Wellness Clinic board president Dr. Audrey Gift announced Aug. 4 that Patricia Guthrie has joined its board of directors.

“We welcome Patricia as a valuable member of the board. Her management experience will be a great asset to the clinic,” Gift said. Since coming to Sequim in 2009, Guthrie has been involved with several volunteer organizations in the community.

She is the vice president of the Peninsula Singers. Her other community volunteer activities include Sequim Community Broadcasting KSQM, the Visitor Information Center of the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce and Trinity United Methodist Church.

Before coming to Sequim, Guthrie served for many years as facilities manager for an engineering firm. Her experiences also included development of an effective workforce as well as hiring, training and development of staff.

Guthrie lives in Sequim with her husband.
