Health clinic leaders chosen

New board members of Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics are Dan Gase, co-owner of Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty; Rob Tulloch, attorney with Greenaway, Gay & Tulloch; Jen Gouge, director of the medical assistant program at Peninsula College; James Geren, M.D., Olympic Medical Center hospitalist; Jim Leskinovich, OMC commissioner; and Joan Irwin, retired Boeing accountant.

Board officers are Patty Hannah, president; Craig Johnson, vice president; Kathy Brown, past president; and Joan Irwin, treasurer. Judith Morris is the nonboard volunteer secretary.

Volunteers in Medicine of the Olympics provides primary medical and mental health care services to uninsured adults on the Olympic Peninsula who do not have access to health care. Since the VIMO free clinic opened in July 2005, it has served more than 2,000 patients.
