Support classes set for caregivers

Discovery Memory Care, 408 W. Washington St., Sequim, will hosts a bi-monthly support and educational group from 3:30-5 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Whether you have a family member, friend, neighbor or are caring for someone with memory loss, come share your concerns and joys. Grief support series planned

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering a six-week grief support group series from April 24-May 29. The group meets from 6:30-to 8 p.m. each Monday at the Hospice House, 810 S. Albert St., directly behind the main office at 540 E. Eighth St., Port Angeles. For more information or to register, call 452-1511. VHOCC is looking for experienced volunteers to offer one-on-one grief and bereavement support.

Caregivers classes scheduled

Another six-week session of “Powerful Tools for the Caregiver” will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. every Wednesday from April 26-May 31 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 815 W. Washington St. This class is not for professional caregivers, but for family and friends who care for a loved one. The class is free but there is a fee for the workbook.
