KSQM 91.5 FM hosts a series of interviews regarding the Sequim School District’s school construction bond proposal.

Upcoming interviews include:

• Monday, Jan. 19, 8 a.m. — with Jim Stoffer, Chair of Citizens for Sequim Schools, and Sequim School Board director Michael Howe

• Wednesday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m. — with Ron Allen, Tribal Council Chairman of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, and Dave Mattingly of Citizens for Sequim Schools

• Friday, Jan. 23, 1 p.m. — with Eric Lewis, Olympic Medical Center CEO, and Sequim schools superintendent Kelly Shea

Sequim school advocates are seeking support — in the form of a $49 million bond — to help build a new elementary school, add science classrooms at Sequim High School, add classrooms at Greywolf Elementary School and complete several other projects district officials say are critical to the health of the district.

The bond election vote is set for Feb. 10. Ballots are being mailed to voters Jan. 21.
