The North Olympic Salmon Coalition is seeking volunteers to plant native trees and shrubs on the Dungeness River in effort to restore salmon and wildlife habitat, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15.

The coalition will be working with Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe Natural Resources representatives to reforest land right along the Dungeness River at this family-friendly event.

Tools and gloves will be available but are in limited supply so attendees are encouraged to bring your own, along with warm, waterproof clothes and boots, water and a lunch. Snacks, tea and coffee will be provided.
