Members of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) serve as boots on the ground when there is a natural disaster, providing first responders with vital information about damage and the need for advanced medical assistance.
Basic skills will be taught over three consecutive Saturdays — Feb. 14, 21 and 29. The Feb. 14 training will be held at KSQM FM 91.5, 609 W. Washington St., Suite 17. The other two training sessions will be at the Training and Operations Center off of Carlsborg Road.
