The 2019 Clallam County Project Homeless Connect event is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, March 1, at the Vern Burton Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
A free, county-wide annual event, Project Homeless Connect offers on-site services and builds community connections with people experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Some of the services available include: breakfast and lunch, housing, clothes, dental, medical, haircuts, legal, social services, veterans information and giveaways.
Veterans can get free bus rides to and from Vern Burton.

Homeless Connect is organized by Clallam County Homeless Outreach, an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2012 to connect local people who are homeless or experiencing housing instability with resources and services that can meet their immediate needs.
