The Hood Canal Bridge bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic in a series of five-hour closures beginning Monday night.
Drivers can expect the complete closure of the state Highway 104 bridge nightly from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. from Monday through Thursday and from Monday, March 16, through Thursday, March 19.
The closures will allow maintenance crews to perform repairs on key portions of the bridge, according to a press release.
The nature of the repairs precludes opening the bridge for traffic, the press release stated.
Drivers are cautioned that slow progress on repairs may lead to longer closures and that weather and tidal activity may require work to be rescheduled to a later date.
