Global Unity Games, a series of local events organized by the Interfaith Community of Clallam County, seeks to gather people of faith and people of goodwill to inspire peace and courageous compassion.

Interfaith Community of Clallam County is a newly formed group that aims to be “a compassionate voice for peace and understanding.” Organizers say the games are part of an international movement to “tap the best in human nature — our innate desire to play, serve, cooperate, learn and connect.”

“Tomorrow Together” is the theme of several events offered by the Interfaith Community to provide opportunities for positive interfaith experiences.

The first event is an Information Station set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Port Angeles Farmers Market, at the corner of Front Street and Lincoln Street in downtown Port Angeles.
