Irrigation royalty pageant crowns king or queen on Feb. 25

Four teens — from top left, Anne Marie Barni, Paige “Skylar” Krzyworz, Pepper Reymond, and Fred Cameron, in front — seek the Sequim Irrigation Festival’s top crown at the annual scholarship pageant at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in Sequim High School Auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave. Tickets are$10 for attendees 13 and older, $5 for 12 and younger, and are available at the show’s door, First Federal’s Sequim Avenue branch, and from contestants. The four candidates will answer impromptu questions, and share creative displays featuring animation, community service, and live music. Past royalty and other dignitaries also will be honored.
