King’s Way kicks off Pass the Mic

King’s Way Foursquare Church kicks off its annual Pass the Mic competition at 7 p.m. Friday, March 5. It continues March 12 and March 25.

Contestant spots are open to any Clallam County individual, duet or trio to sing a family-friendly song for a $500 first prize, $250 second and $125 third.

Children 13 and younger can compete March 5 and March 12, for prizes of $100, $50 and $25.

The March 12 event has a suggested $5 donation per person or $20 for families of four or more. A dinner, silent and live auctions and music by Steve Amerson, "America’s Tenor," will run in conjunction with the finals on March 25. Tickets cost $50 per person. All proceeds go toward construction of Camp King’s Way.
