Lake Ozette Marijuana grow operation eradicated

On May 25th, 2010, Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies, detectives assigned to the Olympic Peninsula Narcotics Enforcement Team (OPNET), and officers with the Forks Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 13000 block Hoko-Ozette Road in rural Clallam County.

The search warrant was a result of an investigation, conducted by sheriff’s deputies, into the manufacturing of marijuana at the location. The 49 year old resident, Jeffrey Dunn, was not home at the time of the warrant service.

Approximately 146 growing marijuana plants, in various stages of growth, were located in an outbuilding and in numerous outdoor gardens scattered across the property. Processed marijuana was located in the residence. The investigation is ongoing.
