The Clallam County Historical Society’s annual meeting and History Tales presentation will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles. Parking and entry to the church’s social hall are on Laurel Street.
Local author Alice Alexander, whose great-grandfather was a homesteader on the Upper Elwha, will be presenting a PowerPoint presentation on the Lyre River and Gettysburg area. She will be selling and signing her new book, “West of the Elwha.”
