Tim Wheeler of Sequim, acting chairman of the non-partisan Voices for Health and Healing, attaches an envelope containing a letter on the front door of the building housing the Port Angeles office of U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer on Thursday, July 23. The letter, signed by reportedly some 120 people, expressed disappointment in Kilmer’s progress in promoting universal health care, protection of Social Security and efforts to contain military spending, in particular the expansion of the U.S. Navy’s Growler aircraft training program at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
