Library signs in to temporary space

Miller Signs of Carlsborg placed the Sequim Library’s former sign at its new temporary space, 609 W. Washington St., Suite 21, on March 22.

Rob Campbell, Miller Signs’ former owner, built the sign in 2009 for the remodel of the library at 630 N. Sequim Ave., which is set for expansion and renovation through spring 2025.

Hoch Construction of Port Angeles renovated the library in 2009, the temporary space formerly home to Brian’s Sporting Goods, and was under consideration after press deadline by library trustees for the contract to construct the renovated/expanded current library.

The temporary space opens Monday, April 1, with the Bookmobile operating from the site 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays and Saturdays, and 10 a.m.-noon Thursdays until the temporary library opens.
