Just in time for trips to the farmer’s market, end-of-summer vacations, and back-to-school supply shopping, the North Olympic Library System is introducing two styles of limited edition, reusable tote bags for sale.
The canvas tote features a hand drawn map of the Olympic Peninsula while the second style is a green nylon ChicoBag with an attached storage pouch and carabiner for carrying convenience.
Both totes can be used to haul library materials, groceries and everything in between, and are a great way to support the library, show library pride and help the environment by limiting the use of plastic bags, library officials say.
“Who wants to checkout just one library book when you can take home a whole tote? NOLS bags are perfect for carrying books, DVDs, magazines and more,” West End library manager Theresa Tetreau said.
The totes are available for purchase at NOLS branch locations in Sequim, Port Angeles, Clallam Bay and Forks. Canvas totes are $12 and ChicoBags are $7, including tax. Purchase any two NOLS totes and get a complimentary Euro-style sticker. Supplies are limited. NOLS does not make a profit from the sale of any merchandise.
