Local Easter egg hunts on tap this Saturday

Sequim and Port Angeles host several opportunities for youths to take part in Easter egg hunts in 2017.

Sequim Elks

The public is invited to Sequim Elks’ free Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15. This event is for children up to age 11 and will be held at the lodge at 143 Port Williams Road. Children will be split into four age groups.

Pumpkin patch

The Pumpkin Patch Sequim will hold a free Easter egg hunt at its Easter event Saturday, April 15.

Beginning at 9 a.m., games, face painting, photo opportunities, a bouncy house, a Sequim Fire Department fire engine, pony rides and a raffle for Easter baskets will be available at the patch at 260045 U.S. Highway 101. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. For more information, call 461-0940.

Annual KONP event

KONP will hold its 39th annual Easter egg hunt Saturday, April 15, at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the hunt beginning at 9 a.m. Children 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Those interested are required to bring their own basket. This event is sponsored by the Olympic Game Farm, Peninsula Bottling and Olympic Mattress Direct.
