McNulty is the featured series speaker at ONP’s ‘Perspectives’

Poet/author Tim McNulty and photographer Pat O’Hara present “Interpreting Olympic National Park in Words and Photographs” at the next Perspectives Winter Speaker Series, set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center, 3002 Mount Angeles Road, Port Angeles.

McNulty and O’Hara discuss how the role of art, photography and inspirational writing has been essential to the preservation and enjoyment of National Park landscapes.

The free series, offered free of charge on the second Tuesday of each month through April, is held as the National Park Service celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2016. On April 14, Sam Brenkman, a fisheries biologist at ONP, presents “Science, Technology and Salmon in Olympic National Park.”
