A fit birthday gift

Marcus Buren Jr., a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness in Sequim for four years, recently held a birthday boot camp with a wish to support the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.

More than 25 people attended his boot camp on March 12 at Anytime Fitness and on March 16 he presented more than $700 to the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.

Buren said the club has given a lot to local children, opened its gym for basketball teams he’s coached and he was a member of a similar facility growing up.
