Milestone: Fit4Life helps B&G Club

A check for $700 was presented to Mary Budke, executive director of the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, from the Fit4Life Studio.

A check for $700 was presented to Mary Budke, executive director of the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, from the Fit4Life Studio.

The studio held a Spinathon on Jan. 16 to raise money for fitness equipment.

The money will go toward the club’s Healthy Lifestyle objective.

Also, members of Ride RE/MAX who recently participated the a Spinathon fundraiser for the Boys & Girls club at the Fit4Life Studio, including Kat Parks, Michael McAleer, Liz Parks, Nell Clausen, Shawnna Rigg, Marcus Oden and Ryan Iskenderian.

The Boys & Girls Club staff encourage members to lead a healthy lifestyle. That means developing young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, to set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults. The club does this through a variety of programs and program areas within the clubhouse.
