More than 230 participants made the one- or five-mile Olympic Discovery Trail trek to support the 10th-annual Dungeness Health and Wellness Clinic on Sept. 13.
Sponsors raised more than $25,000 prior to the event and the walk brought in another $4,600 to top off the fundraising effort at $30,125.
The Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church’s team “Akaloo” brought out the most participants, with 47 walkers. They raised more than $2,000.
The event also saw the hard work of 97 volunteers, including help at the health fair.
