Joshua Cibene, a senior at Sequim High School, was recognized as the Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s May Vocational student of the month.
Cibene moved to Sequim from North Seattle eight years ago with his parents, Tony and Lisa Cibene. He also has an older brother and sister. Cibene was nominated by his teacher Brad Moore for his efforts and ability in the welding program. His extracurricular activities include FFA and track.
He enjoys showing and auctioning off steer and hogs, fishing, riding dirt bikes, camping, pole vaulting and is a volunteer at the Sequim Lavender Festival.
His plan for the future is to go to college and get his business degree. After school, he wants to work for his dad’s window cleaning business and take over the business when his dad retires.
