The SARC Masters Swim Team held a meet March 8 that raised money to give a SARC lifeguard a $500 scholarship.

Many of SARC’s employees are high school or college students that work part-time to help supplement their education.

This year was the first time the scholarship was offered. Drew Ross, who last month resuscitated a patron and was a great staff member for the past year, won the inaugural scholarship.
