Minor injuries from car wreck

A two-car collision at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, July 24, resulted in injuries to two people, a totaled vehicle and boat trailer.

Patricia Warren, 67, of Port Angeles, was transported to Olympic Medical Center with cuts and minor pain. Her 2001 Chevrolet Blazer was totaled.

Rodney Blake, 51, of Sequim, received a minor facial cut. His 1991 Ford pickup remained drivable but sustained about $3,000 work of damage. Blake was towing a boat trailer and boat.

The trailer was totaled and the 1983 Searay cabin cruiser sustained about $1,000 in damage. His passenger Julie Blake, 47, of Sequim  was not injured.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.

According to the State Patrol report, Warren was eastbound on U.S. 101 near Blyn and Blake was westbound. Warren entered a curve, her vehicle crossed the center line and struck Blake’s vehicles.

Warren was charged with crossing the center line.
