Clallam County Sheriff’s Office reports a woman, believed to have been missing since Tuesday, Jan. 6, was found dead near her residence at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9.
Detectives found Bevil Roening, 46, during a thorough search of the wooded area near her home.
Detective Sgt. John Keegan said there are no visible signs a crime has been committed but they will continue their investigation until the cause of Roening’s death is concluded.
Roening last contacted her family on Jan. 6 and her vehicle and belongings were at her residence.
Keegan reported she had a medical condition that required medication and her family said the condition could have make her appear to have dementia and be confused about her physical condition.
