Spisak has worked in photography more than 10 years after earning a degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Currently her work focuses on movement in nature, and she finds her favorite photos on Hurricane Ridge, in the Hoh Rain Forest and on the beach near tidal pools.

This is her first local showing and it can be seen during regular business hours.

She and her husband Nick moved to the Olympic Peninsula two years ago from Michigan and now live in Sequim.

Spisak also is showing her photos from 5-8 p.m. Fridays at The Long Gallery inside The Landing at 115 E. Railroad Ave., Port Angeles.

Her photos range in price from $40-$150 and include hand-painted frames.
