OMC recognized for medical marketing

The Aster Awards recognized Olympic Medical Center with a bronze award for its "Smoke-Free OMC" poster series. This national program recognizes health care professionals for excellence in medical marketing efforts.

The Aster Awards recognized Olympic Medical Center with a bronze award for its "Smoke-Free OMC" poster series. This national program recognizes health care professionals for excellence in medical marketing efforts.

The Aster Awards received approximately 3,000 entries. Olympic Medical’s entry ranked in the top 16 percent of all national entries.

Rhonda Curry, assistant administrator at Olympic Medical, attributes the success of the Smoke-Free OMC poster series to her team – marketing manager Jeff Anderson, marketing and public relations coordinator Bobby Beeman and Sharon Stevenson, now physician relations specialist.

Entries were judged by a panel of health care marketing experts. All winners are posted on the Aster Awards’ Web site at www.AsterAwards.com, as well as published in Marketing Healthcare Today, a national health care marketing trade magazine.
