Olympic Medical Center recently welcomed Misty Shaw as manager of finance.

Shaw will manage OMC’s financial analysts, accounting and accounts payable staff, and act as treasurer for the hospital district.

Joel Lewis recently moved to a different position in the finance department, establishing the need to hire a new manager.

“We are pleased Misty is able to step in to this role and I believe her knowledge and experience will really benefit our finance department and OMC,”Darryl Wolfe, chief financial officer for Olympic Medical Center, said.

Shaw’s most recent position was assistant director of finance for the City of Grandbury, Texas. She has a breadth of experience in accounting and finance including local government, non-profit organizations and manufacturing within Fortune 500 companies.

Shaw is also a certified government finance officer through the Government Finance Officers of Texas organization.

“I chose to work at Olympic Medical Center because of its reputation within the community, dedication to quality health care and access, and it has a great finance staff,” Shaw said.
