OPHS debuts online will-writing resource

Olympic Peninsula Humane Society launched a free will-writing platform in the hopes of providing a helpful estate planning resource while empowering residents to protect their family and pets, the organization announced in mid-October.

According to OPHS Executive Director Luanne Hinkle, the online resource located at www.Freewill.com/OPHS can help remove the legal fees associated with estate planning while allowing users to prepare for the future.

“We feel it’s part of our mission to help our community, and protect the people and pets they love,” Hinkle said.

OPHS is financed primarily by private donations and gifts and is not associated with a national organization. Representatives say more than 1,500 animals pass through the doors of the facility each year. For more information, call 360-457-8206 or visit www.ophumanesociety.org.
