A Port Angeles woman died following a one-vehicle rollover in the late morning hours of May 31 on U.S. Highway 101 in Carlsborg, according to an incident memo from the Washington State Patrol.

Julie M. Moen, 61, Port Angeles was driving a 1990 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on U.S. Highway 101 shortly before 11 a.m. Friday when she lost control of the vehicle at Boyce Road and drove off the roadway to the right, the memo stated.

The cause was listed as wheels off roadway. Moen was wearing her seatbelt.

Moen was declared dead at Olympic Medical Center. The Jeep was destroyed.
