Peninsula College Foundation completes awards for 2020-2021

Representatives with the Peninsula College Foundation announced last week its scholarship application cycle has officially closed, with 158 awards totaling almost $200,000 distributed to 133 students attending Peninsula College for the 2020-2021 school year.

With assistance from the Peninsula College Scholarship Review Committee, the foundation awarded 76 competitive scholarships to 51 students.

Awards were given to students seeking two-year degrees and certificates and transfer degrees across multiple disciplines, including nursing, medical assisting, automotive technology, welding, science, education, language arts, journalism, music, business administration and more.

Peninsula College Foundation scholarships are awarded based on donor-selected criteria and are supported by endowed funds and annual donor gifts.

Students can apply for PC Foundation scholarships through www.theWash Board.org, a free, web-based scholarship matching clearinghouse for Washington state students and scholarship providers.
