Peninsula College opens scholarship process for 2020-20201 tuition

The Peninsula College Foundation’s online application process is open for students seeking scholarships to attend Peninsula College for the 2020-21 school year.

Since the application process opened on Jan. 22, additional scholarships have become available, including the James D. Glann Memorial Scholarship, for a first-generation college student, and the Olympic Peninsula Porsche Club Scholarship, for a student in the Automotive Technology Program at Peninsula College.

The majority of applications are due Sunday, April 19, but because some deadlines vary, applicants are advised to check each scholarship’s deadline.

With deadlines approaching, students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as many scholarships require letters of recommendation, personal essays and unofficial transcripts. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Award notifications for general scholarships will be provided to applicants beginning May 18. Applicants for nursing scholarships will be notified beginning July 20.

To apply for Peninsula College Foundation scholarships, follow these steps:

• visit www.theWashBoard.org;

• create a login and a personal profile or update existing profile;

• enter “Peninsula College” in the search toolbar to review the list of all available scholarships for the 2020-21 school year; and,

• Apply; there is no limit to the number of scholarships that an individual can apply for, as long as the criteria for the scholarship is met.
