Discover the connection between coursework and the real world, and the resources in place to keep the community healthy and safe, as Peninsula College Campus Safety and the Associated Student Council host a Health and Safety Fair for PC students and the community from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, in the Pirate Union Building on the college’s main campus, 1504 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
The fair aims to make students and community members aware of personal health and safety issues, as well as the community resources available to address them. Additionally, the agencies that will be represented at the fair relate to programs offered at Peninsula College including, nursing, medical assisting, cyber security, criminal justice, homeland security/emergency management and PC’s EMT course. This event is free and open to the public.
Participating agencies include the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, Port Angeles Police Department, Community Emergency Response Team, Phoenix Dragon Martial Arts, Map Your Neighborhood, Peninsula Behavioral Health, PC Cyber Security Program, Olympic Medial Physicians, North Olympic Healthcare Network, Port Angeles Fire Department and Olympic Ambulance.
