The Sequim Library's Summer Reading Program ended with big smiles for two lucky readers.

The Sequim Library’s Summer Reading Program ended with big smiles for two lucky readers.

Emily Webb, 11, was the first to complete the library activity challenges and read at least 10 hours. She read more than 20 books.

Webb received a blanket, an electronic bookmark and a book from Jim Roberts, North Olympic Library System board member, and Patti Swingle, Sequim Library children’s service coordinator, pictured above.

Elita Nivens, 7, won a $50 gift certificate

to the Abracadabra store in Port Townsend.

Nivens, left, pictured below with her sister Anna, right, said she read at least five books on her own.

The sisters agreed the library is one of their favorite places to go.
