Today, Wednesday, July 22, children of all ages are invited join the North Olympic Library System’s Summer Reading Program with a free show presented by the Reptile Man, Scott Peterson.

From snakes to alligators to turtles to iguanas, there’s something for everyone to see.

He will be at the Sequim Branch Library at 10:30 a.m., the Port Angeles Library at 1 p.m. and the Sekiu Community Hall in Clallam Bay at 4 p.m. Tickets for Port Angeles are required and will be available starting at 12:30 p.m.

The library’s Summer Reading Program continues through Friday, Aug. 21, at all four branches of the North Olympic Library System. Children who participate will maintain their reading skills throughout the summer by enjoying recreational reading, earning prizes and attending free special events. Children may sign up at their library any time during the summer.

For more information, contact the Children’s Services Department at the Port Angeles Library at 417-8502. Or visit the library’s Web site at www.nols.org and click on "Summer Reading Program" under the Kids page.
