The weekly blotter includes incidents that occurred in the City of Sequim and in unincorporated Clallam County in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley area.
Clallam County Fire District 3 reported to 190 incidents from April 19-26, including two structure fires in Port Angeles that CCFD3 responded to as mutual aid support.
Fire staff said that according to the National Fire Protection Association, 17 firefighters responding within 8 minutes to single-family homes is the necessary standard for fires. Mutual aid can help achieve that level of staffing when units are available.
