The weekly blotter includes incidents that occurred in the City of Sequim and in unincorporated Clallam County in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley area.
Clallam County Fire District 3 reported to 246 incidents from July 12-19. Staff said crews have been busy, often responding to multiple emergencies at the same time. Brush fires continue throughout the district. Staff would like to remind everyone that there is now a county-wide burn ban, and something as simple as mowing dry grass can create a fast-moving fire if blades strike rock or metal.
