The City of Sequim invites the community to a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 28, to open the new bocce ball and shuffleboard courts at Carrie Blake Community Park, located to south of the Albert Haller Playfields.

Courts were constructed by the City of Sequim Public Works crew with the exception of the shuffle board concrete surface; that portion of the project was finished by contractor Colin Hiday with Hiday Concrete, Inc.
