Firefighters with Clallam County Fire District 3 and Explorer Post 1003 take Santa to the community next week for his annual Toy and Food Fire Brigade.

They’ll travel through the Sequim area from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, Dec. 4-7 in a decorated 1939 antique fire truck playing festive music collecting food, toys, blankets and more.

Santa will hand out candy canes as they collect food and donations for the Sequim Food Bank, and toys and blankets for Sequim Community Aid’s Toys for Sequim Kids on Dec. 12 at Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.

Look for the fire truck on the following days:

• Dec. 4: Downtown Sequim, west of Sequim Avenue

• Dec. 5: Downtown Sequim, east of Sequim Avenue

• Dec. 6: Emerald Highlands, Elk Creek Apartments and the area of Elk Loop off West Sequim Bay Road

• Dec. 7: Makeup day due to inclement weather

Santa’s Toy and Food Fire Brigade is a partnership between Clallam County Fire District 3, Explorer Post 1003 and IAFF Local 2933.
