OCS announces honor roll
Olympic Christian School recently announced students named to the school’s honor roll for third quarter.
Students named to the principal’s list achieved a 4.0 grade-point average. Students named to the “A” honor roll earned GPAs of 3.50-3.99.

P.A. library hosts poetry ‘slam’
In honor of national poetry month, the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., hosts a Poetry Slam for poets and actors in grades 6-9 at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21.
Students compete by reading an original poem or performing a published poem.
Prizes include an iPod Nano, an iPod Shuffle and gift certificates for local bookstores.
The public is invited; light refreshments will be served.
