The Sequim Education Foundation has announce the Fall 2013 “Grants for Teachers Program.”
The foundation encourages all Sequim School District teachers to apply for grants to help support their classrooms.
Past grant winners have received funds for field trips, before and after school programs, digital interactive boards, electronic math devices, books, science kits, art supplies, vocational projects and educational games, among others.
“This is a wonderful program with far-reaching benefits that often last beyond the year in which the funds are given,” foundation grant chairman Kathy Schock said.
This year’s submission deadline is Monday, Oct. 14, with presentations scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Sequim High School library.
