Sequim Library to host expansion project talk

To help solve overcrowding and aging infrastructure issues at the Sequim Library, officials from the North Olympic Library System are hosting a number of community conversations.

The next one is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

NOLS library director Margaret Jakubcin will provide an informational presentation about the Sequim Branch Library Expansion Project and the conceptual planning process currently underway.

Library officials say they have shared this informational presentation with more than 300 community members so far and will offer additional presentations, awareness-raising activities and public input opportunities throughout 2017.

Library officials also note they are interested in scheduling a presentation for groups apart from scheduled events. Email Director@nols.org or Sequim@nols.org to schedule an informational presentation.
