Sequim schools open HiCap process

The Sequim School District announced this week an open referral process through Feb. 29, for students in grades kindergarten-12 who may qualify for Highly Capable (HiCap) Program services.

Anyone from the community may refer students, including teachers, parents, staff and members of the community.

Paper referral forms are available at each school, the Sequim School District office and at the Sequim Library. Access referral forms online www.sequim.k12.wa.us.

Referral forms must be received by close of business on Feb. 29; because of time constraints, referrals received after Feb. 29 will not be considered.

Students previously identified as Highly Capable will continue to receive services.
