Soroptimist International of Sequim recently presented Girl of the Month awards to Sequim High School seniors Lindsey Hintz for April and Sara Boucher for May.
Students are selected on the basis of their academic excellence, along with consideration of their community involvement, athletic achievements and citizenship.
Hintz has a full academic schedule, including advanced placement classes, and is working part time at Pacific Northwest Veterinary Hospital. She plans to attend Washington State University and major in veterinary medicine. Hintz lives in Sequim with her grandparents Dell and Linda Gott.
Boucher has a love of languages and is taking both Spanish and Chinese. She is enrolled in advanced placement and honors classes and is a member of Women in Networks. She plans to attend Barrett’s Honor College at Arizona State University, majoring in English literature and minoring in Chinese.
She is the daughter of Laurie Hill and Paul Boucher of Sequim.
