Sheriff’s office seeks two suspects in PA, Sequim business burglaries

Clallam County Sheriff’s Office seeks two suspects in connection with three burglaries on late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning between Sequim and Port Angeles.

Deputies responded to an alarm around midnight on July 20 at Hartnagel’s Building Supply, 3111 E. Highway 101, Port Angeles, where they report a door had been shattered and merchandise had been stolen.

They report a male and female gained entry into the lumber yard by breaching a chain link fence.

A few minutes after the alarm at Hartnagel’s, a Port Angeles Power Equipment employee reported the business’ chain link fence at 2624 E. Highway 101 had been breached late on July 19.

Deputies report there was no evidence anything was stolen.

In Sequim, deputies responded to another reported burglary at about 2 a.m. at Leitz Farms, 259110 U.S. Highway 101, Sequim.

They report the burglary occurred at about 12:45 p.m., July 20 with items stolen from the business.

Video surveillance shows the same suspects at both Hartnagel’s and Leitz with deputies suspecting the pair was involved in all three incidents.
